- In mainland China, the open beta has been live since 2026-08-21 on three platforms: PC (official launcher), iOS (China App Store) and Android (official APK). There is no Steam release. Outside China the game has not launched yet — see the global version question below.
- Q2.Is the Lord of Mysteries game on mobile?
- Yes. The China open beta includes iOS and Android clients: iOS / iPadOS 15+ with a roughly 2.2 GB install, and Android 7.1+ with a roughly 1.9 GB install (extra assets download on first launch). Cross-platform account sharing between mobile and PC has not been officially detailed — check the official FAQ before assuming it.
- Q3.Is there a global or international version?
- Not yet, and no date has been announced. The official global site lists EN / JP / KR localization and has pre-registration open, with the launch date still marked "to be announced." We will update this question the day an official date drops.
- Q4.When did the Lord of Mysteries game launch?
- The China open beta started 2026-08-21 across PC / Android / iOS, after pre-download and character creation opened on 2026-08-19. Earlier milestones: the Crimson closed PC beta (2026-01-15) and the Gray Fog limited paid wipe test (2026-06-26 to 07-05).

- We cannot confirm this yet — it is marked pending verification. As of 2026-08-26 the developer has published no monetization design, and no official statement covers gacha-style draws, limited banners, or a battle pass. What is confirmed: the open beta is free on all three platforms, and the June 2026 Gray Fog test was a limited paid billing test, so some form of in-app purchases exists. We will replace this answer with official details the moment they are published.

- Downloading and playing are free during the China open beta — that is confirmed. Whether the game stays fully free-to-play at endgame cannot be confirmed yet, because the long-term monetization plan has not been officially announced. Free to download: confirmed. Free forever: unannounced.

- Only from official channels: the China App Store (search 诡秘之主) for iOS, and the official Android APK or PC launcher at game.kuaishou.com. There is no Steam version. We recommend against third-party mirrors — fake clients and malware are common there.
